As in previous years, our students participated in the Students’ Scientific Conference 2019 organized at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, University of Chemistry and Technology Prague. Again they were extremely successful. List of the honoured ones includes:

• Lenka Kolářová – placed first in her section with her project called “Elimination of PVC from mixtures of plastics: Transformation of plastic waste into useful raw material”
• Patrik Bouřa – placed first in his section with project “Preparation and characterization of micro-cellular scaffolds for medical applications” (Patrik placed first for the third time in a row!)
• Jakub Klimošek – placed second in his section with project “Understanding diffusion in semi-crystalline polymers: Theory and experiments”
• Jan Eichler – placed third in his section with project “Realistic modeling of shunt currents in the vanadium redox flow battery stack”
